Bat

Framed etching and Aquatint — medium copper plate, acid-bitten, rosin-dusted, printed on Hahnemühle paper.

Height 15" x Width 12"

Born of fire and patience, this intaglio print emerges from a centuries-old alchemy: a copper plate dusted in rosin, surrendered to acid, coaxed into shadow and light. The result is a mythical being rendered in the rich, velvety tones that once graced the studios of Rembrandt and Goya — masters who understood that darkness, too, is a form of grace.

This work is made for the collector who inhabits the present while keeping one eye on eternity — for those who know that true art does not merely decorate a wall, but quietly transforms the room it enters.
